Lee Jinyong recreates old objects he has collected or well-known people with Hyperrealism. These old objects or well-known people penetrate through the artist’s oeuvre, “collection”, to become one with the artist’s spirit. Then they become evidence of the strength of the ‘hand’ and the craftsmanship of traditional arts that encompasses the mind and body through the artist’s dedication towards his work, his philosophy of life, and his everyday life.
