Sansu series shows the theme of snowy landscape sceneries from Gangwon Province, including Mt. Seolak, Hongcheon, and Pyeongchang. Unlike Boomoon's previous series with a specific concept of landscape, Sansu presents the zenith of the artist's photography notion developed throughout his comprehensive artworks. The presence of landscape, emanating from the 4-5m large scale screen, refreshingly touches its viewer's heart.
Naksan series in space 2 shows the sceneries from the seashore of Naksan that the photographer has been capturing since 2005. This series is known for Boomoon's major work although it has not been shown in any other exhibitions. The scenes of snow-covered Naksan beach, sky, and sea are an open space for its audience.
Hakgojae Gallery, which pursues the value of 'studying the old, and creating the new,' would like to have an earnest dialogue with its audience about and truth of photography in contemporary art through Boomoon's work that awakes the spirit of traditional landscape painting by using modern photography technique in the flood of photographic images of today.
