SONG Chang: Flower-Shade

‘Flower-Shade’ does not indicate a flower and shade, nor a flower’s shadow. Flower-Shade, like ‘Sun-Shade,’ is a complete word unifying brightness and darkness into one chaos. The flower is shade, and the shade is flower. Like bright darkness or dark brightness, the yin and yang is a single mass, therefore Flower-Shade is a term of creation. As the flower and shade embraces each other, the unification of the two is inspiration. Song Chang’s Flower-Shade bloomed in the sincere scenery where the dismal joy is engraved.
